STEP 2: After you click on ‘Create New App’ you will see the following screen. Here you will enter your application name, check Facebook terms and click ‘continue’. App name should be unique.
STEP 3: After entering the application name, you will see the following screen. At this screen, you can see your Facebook Application ID and a secret key. Save these two things in a separate notepad file, we will need them later on. You can also change logo and icon of your Facebook application but that is optional, I didn’t do that!

At the same page when you scroll down, you can see the columns for entering your email address for support and your privacy policy and terms URLs and click ‘Save Changes’. You can see below, how I entered these items:
STEP 4: Click on the ‘web’ option in the left side menu.
Here you can enter your website name and sub domain, you can also enter your website URL in both fields.

STEP 5: After entering this information, click ‘On Facebook’ link on the left side menu.
Enter only a unique name in ‘Canvas Page’ column and leave other fields blank.

STEP 6: Extract bundle.zip file, it’s available in the zip file you downloaded after purchasing this WSO. Open the folder script, it contains a file index.php. Open this file in notepad to edit. You can do it in less than one minute. This is truly simple and interesting!
After making these little changes, save the file. Now, using File Manager or FTP, create a new directory in your website and name it ‘Facebook’, like www.yourwebsite.com/facebook and upload this index.php file in this new directory.

Commonly, at your home page you have a ‘Download’ button where visitor can click and download the free report. Instead of linking ‘Download’ button directly to your free report, link it to www.yourwebsite.com/facebook. It will take your visitor to Facebook website and he will see the following window.
Now, it depends upon visitor, whether he wants to put any message or not, but it doesn’t affect the working of this method. Till July, 2011, developers were able to put a pre-populated message in their applications but now Facebook ignores that field. 1. Visit https://developers.facebook.com/apps and click ‘Create New App’ button.

3. Extract bundle.zip file. You will see script folder which contains index.php file.
4. Open index.php file in notepad to enter your application ID, link, title, description and redirect URL etc.
5. Create a new directory ‘Facebook’ on your website and upload index.php file in that directory.
6. On your home page instead of linking the ‘Download’ button to your free report, link it to www.yoursite.com/facebook . In that way, visitor who will click ‘Download’ button will be taken to Facebook and as soon as he clicks ‘Share’ button, your website link will be posted on his wall and he’ll be redirected to your download page.
